'Do you know Sadat Hassan Manto? Have you read through his fiction stories? Do you identify his persona? Manto\'s fictions and his persona are diverse or you say both are fickle in each other? Manto said that whatever you see should be recorded in writings. Manto did what he said. He wrote everything he came across. Though he never minded about others disliking those things. Manto may have been accused of spreading obscenity through his stories, but he alleged that it is completely wrong. He said that it is a different issue that you like or dislike my fiction stories, but literature categorically cannot be considered obscene. Those who blamed Manto for obscenity in his writings, he reverted back asking them why one should not write about prostitutes and so on. Don’t they exist? Are they not a part of our society? When men pay visits at their doors, then why these prostitutes cannot be the part of literary writings? Manto argued that whatsoever is the truth, the same should be written. How can you call a silk cloth with a patch on it a fine piece? Manto himself did not hide the patches in his life. You can find both the fine pieces and the patchy things in his life. He never tried to hide them. \'Fraud Manto\', brings forth Sadat Hassan Manto’s these fine pieces and patchy entries by his own pen.
